Chloe’ Vorseth is an ecological economist and PhD candidate at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Her experiences span from studying ecotourism and environmental education in Cape Town, South Africa, joining fellow FIU students in Washington D.C. to discuss the importance of coastal economies and science communication with lawmakers, serving as president of the Florida Coastal Everglades Long-Term Ecological Research (FCE-LTER) student group at FIU, and receiving scholarships from The Everglades Foundation.
Her research focuses on valuing the countless economic contributions of the Everglades, but she is most passionate about teaching anyone and everyone about the environment. She holds a master's degree in Environmental Studies from FIU and a bachelor's degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from the University of Kentucky. In her spare time, Chloe’ enjoys reading, cooking, playing the violin, and visiting family in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
