Geraldine Hogan is a former elementary school teacher, licensed attorney, and retired Judge. She is also certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Court Mediator. Since her retirement from the judiciary in 2018, Geraldine has dedicated time to helping parties resolve legal disputes through mediation, avoiding the need for judicial intervention.
Before attending law school, Geraldine worked as a teacher for over a decade. She understands the importance of setting and pursuing new career goals at the appropriate time. Drawing from her own journey, she authored the book Career Moves for Teachers and Other Professionals: Strategies for a Successful Job Change.
Geraldine’s educational background includes a bachelor's degree from Johnson C. Smith University, a Master of Education from the University of Florida College of Education, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law.
Geraldine continues to embrace new opportunities for growth. She is a member of several Toastmasters International’s network of clubs and has earned the Distinguished Toastmaster award, the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. As a Toastmaster, Geraldine enjoys helping individuals enhance their communication and leadership skills.
